"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about."

I see myself as a culturally sensitive facilitator of personal growth and transformation. I approach counselling from a holistic, integrative perspective, weaving together Western Psychological theories with Eastern Spiritual practises of body-mind-spirit connection, to help individuals make changes in ways that are most meaningful to their particular situation. Every person and each moment is unique to individual experience and I am passionate about each new discovery.

Having been a film producer for 25 years, I have been involved in extremely stressful and diverse work environments, dealing with crisis management on all levels. I fully understand burnout and how important stress management is in containing anxiety and depression, as an essential part to maintaining work-life balance. I share with my clients, mindfulness based meditation techniques and preventative strategies to help contain stress levels and facilitate a calmness of being.

I am a meditator and an ardent Iyengar trained and 30 year practicing yogi and have always been fascinated by the mind, body, and spirit connection. I utilise breath work, guided visualization, meditation within my counselling psychotherapeutic talk work.

I am a Master Cleanse facilitator believing that fasting can circumvent aspects of depression and help heal certain mental health issues. I take Clients through the 10 day Master Cleanse program of cleansing the body through a complete juice fast, total detoxification of the internal organs of your gut, where we unclutter body, mind and spirit thus return to a natural state of calm acceptance, happiness and well-being.

Specialisation (but not exclusive to); relationship and marriage counselling, bereavement, loss, grief, existential crisis, anxiety, depression, stress management, mindfulness meditation, wellness techniques and cognitive behavioural work.I have worked in victim support, trauma counselling, community support groups, facilitated women empowerment groups, worked with men & masculinities and in one on one counselling dealing with life changes, crisis and personal growth. I have developed a program facilitating teenage girls group work, focusing on positive body awareness and the effects of social media through the use of narrative related scripts.

I am a woman, a partner, a daughter, a sister and a mother to a teenage daughter, navigating my own way through this whirlpool called ‘life’.

I look forward to partnering you on your journey towards living a more authentic life, seeking your particular emotional truth and finding meaning and purpose in your life.
